Housel Bay in Cornwall features a sea cliff composed mainly of Devonian slate and greywacke, formed around 380 million years ago through sedimentary deposition and subsequent metamorphism. The cliffs are notable for their resistant rock formations that have withstood significant coastal erosion, contributing to the dramatic coastal scenery typical of west Cornwall.
