A slate house is recorded on the Down Survey map of Kimleaden parish (1655-6) at Stonehouse, and it is depicted as a house with two chimneys on the Down Survey map. It is recorded in the Civil Survey (1654-6) that this house was owned by John Power of Dunhill (WA025-045----) in 1640 (Simington 1942, 138). It remains unlocated. Compiled by: Michael Moore.
