According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) in 'Killnecarrigy' there stands 'the houses…wast and destroyed beinge likewise putt out of the line' which in 1640 was under the proprietorship of 'Richard Prendergast of Killnecarrigy Gent; Irish Papist' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 332). These houses are unlocated within the townland of Kilnacarriga.
