What is recorded here
William Doyle of Fortchester (WX003-019----) mortgaged land at Killybegs to Thomas Wakefield, mayor of Dublin, and a man called Plunkett. After the 1641 rebelliion, Wakefied claimed he had spent £200 in building work there, employing the bricklayer Peter Harrison (Loeber and Stouthamer-Loeber 1987, 199). Any building remains unlocated.
