Detached three-bay single-storey house with projecting central gabled bay, built c.1930, now disused. Pitched corrugated-metal roof with rendered chimneystacks. Corrugated-iron walls over timber frame. Square-headed window openings having timber casement windows, fixed multi-pane window to south. Square-headed door opening with timber battened door and overlight. Outbuilding to side.

This early twentieth century house is representative of a type of structure which has become increasingly rare in Ireland during the last decades. The use of corrugated iron as a building material was once common throughout rural areas, when it was used to replace traditional vernacular materials. However, this house appears rather more designed than traditional buildings. Its central gable and large windows openings suggest that this may have been built as a holiday home rather than a full time rural dwelling.
