What is recorded here
Semi-detached three-bay single-storey house, c.1790, now in use as an office. Roughcast rendered walls with smooth rendered base course. Replacement timber tongue and groove door. Replacement timber sash windows. Pair of windows in gable end with plain drip mouldings. Pitched slate roof with plain terra-cotta ridge tiles. Slightly raised gable end to north with chimney stack. Shared chimney stack to south.
A simple, attractive late eighteenth-century house which, though refurbished, retains its original proportions. A valuable remnant from the time of the development of the nearby Demesne, still prominently sited at the top of a narrow laneway.
