What is recorded here

Two to three or more posthole houses, possibly three conjoined structures, of probable prehistoric (perhaps Neolithic) date. One is certain with a possible door threshold and contains a hearth with associated stakeholes. Buildings appear to be circular 6m - 8m diameter of postholes with a central post and oven-like features. No pottery or other significant finds. Dispersed pitting and investigation of pale, leeched areas of subsoil that were concluded to be natural staining produced by upwelling water - natural, presumably dating to the immediately post-glacial period.
