Discovered in February 2006 on the W shore of Poulaphuca Reservoir when the water level dropped. On a gentle slope in former agricultural land overlooking the King's River. An almost square structure (int. dims. L 6.6m N-S; Wth 6.2m E-W) is defined by the burnt clays and charcoal-rich fill of the slot-trench of the building's foundation. Subsequent intermittent investigation (Excavation Licence No. 07E1127), when the water level allowed, revealed a significant amount of Neolithic pottery, a flint axe and a possibly ritually deposited Bann flake.
