What is recorded here
Terraced three-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1860, now in use as flats. Vacant public house to ground floor. Rendered walls with moulded eaves course and string courses at sill levels to first and second floors. Segmental-arched openings to upper floors with timber sash windows and decorative render surrounds. Render shopfront to ground floor with decorative console brackets, cornice and fascia.
Though now in poor condition, this former house remains an interesting contributor to the streetscape. The decorative render detail enlivens and enhances the façade of the building. This building forms part of an interesting group with the pair of houses to the east, which also retain fine decorative render details.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
