Semi-detached two-bay two-storey over basement house, c. 1830, with round-headed doorway having fanlight, bow windows and front railings; slate pitched roof with dormer attic inserted, c. 1970; rough cast render finish to walls; outbuildings to Wellington Road boundary.
One of a pair of unusual houses having large bows to the front. Apart from the dormer addition No. 1 is very intact, retaining its timber sash windows, fanlight and slate roof.
