Detached three-bay two-storey over basement house, c. 1820, with round-headed doorway having Ionic doorcase and decorative fanlight. Slate hipped roof with wide overhanging eaves. Painted rendered walls.
A finely proportioned late Georgian house which has survived remarkably intact, with small pane sash windows, fanlight over main door, wrought iron entrance screen and panelled doors all retained. Situated on a prominent site visible from the city below and set within its own grounds.
