Ashlar limestone retaining wall, c. 1860, with blind arches, flight of stone steps with iron handrail and single-span lattice girder footbridge with decorative cast iron balustrade.
One of the few surviving elements of Cork's now disused railways, built using local materials and still in use as a pedestrian walkway leading to Summerhill.
