Detached three-bay two-storey house, c.1700. Replacement timber casement windows with smooth rendered surrounds. Smooth rendered walls. Half-hipped thatched roof with brick chimney stack. Entrance incorporated into gabled porch extension. Three-bay two-storey extension to west in similar style. Three-bay two-storey more recent extension to south.

This house is one of the oldest surviving structures in Rathccoole and, though quite altered and refurbished, remains a valuable element of the local history, long in use as a public house.
