What is recorded here

Terraced two-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1860, now in use as retail outlet. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls. Replacement uPVC windows and door. Timber shopfront, c. 1900, comprising of pilasters flanking openings, and having fascia and cornice above.
This modest former house makes a notable and positive contribution to the streetscape, due to the scale and form of the building. The timber shopfront is an interesting feature of the building, as simple and well executed shopfronts such as this one are becoming increasingly rare in the urban landscape.
