What is recorded here

Pair of semi-detached three-bay two-storey houses, built c.1920, with canted bays to ground-floor and extension to rear. Hipped tiled roofs with rendered chimneystacks. Render to walls with chanelling and quoins. Timber sash windows. Centrally-placed timber panelled doors with sidelights. Single-storey outbuildings to rear with corrugated-iron roof. Houses front onto street.
This early twentieth-century pair makes a positive contribution to the streetscape, terminating the vista of the north-western end of the town. The pleasing symmetry and decorative canted bay windows combine to create a simple and elegant architectural design, further enhanced by the retention of many original materials.
