KE053-006002- was shown on the 1st edition of the OS map as a single ring of hachures and was named 'Fort' on the Fair Plan. There are possible traces of a rectangular house site amongst the overgrown stone debris scattered around the site. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
