In pasture, located on a natural rocky rise, with good views of the surrounding countryside.
A roughly circular area (4.8m NNE-SSW), defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.5-1.7m; ext. H 1m) (Pers. comm. R. Crumlish, 2009). At S−E the interior and the enclosing bank are engulfed in scrub.
There is a rath (MA062-128----) and a house (MA062-128002-) c. 70m to WSW and another rath (MA062-130----) c. 115m to E.
