Situated on a natural rise, in low-lying wet pasture with marshy hollows in the vicinity. Within a moated site (WM017-071----) are the grass-covered wall footings of a long rectangular house site (dims. 11.50m NNW-SSE; 5m WSW-ENE) with opposing gaps in the ENE and WNW sides, which may represent the remains of doorways. A preservation order was placed on this monument on the 24/04/1987 (SMR File).
