On the Rathcroghan plateau. An area of c. 2 ha (c. 4 acres) is divided into small rectangular paddocks (dims c. 25m x c.20m) by low earthen banks (Wth c. 3m; H 0.3m) or scarps on either side of the road (RO022-057021-) which here widens (Wth c. 20m). This is the deserted settlement (RO022-057070-) and contains this rectangular house site (ext. dims 11.2m E-W; 6.2m N-S) S of the road. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
