Situated on a ridge within ringfort (LA033-021001-). Indicated on the 1908 ed OS 6-inch map only. A rectangular shaped area (L. c. 16.2m, W. c. 5m) defined by a low earthen bank. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
