Semi-detached pair of two-bay two-storey houses, built c. 1910, on a rectangular plan with shared porch with hipped roof to front and later single-storey single-pitched extensions to rear. Pitched slate roof with timber fascia and soffit to front and exposed rafter ends to west, grey clayware ridge tiles and smooth rendered chimneystacks to gables with yellow clay pots, replacement rainwater goods. Painted roughcast rendered walls, except for a smooth rendered finish to the southern gable. Square-headed window openings with smooth rendered reveals and painted sills containing six-over-three horned timber sash windows to first floor and with bipartite multi-pane horned timber sash windows to either side of porch. Square-headed door openings to porch with smooth rendered reveals, containing painted timber vertically-sheeted doors with concrete step fronting. Set back from the road with original cast-iron piers with modern gate flanked by hedging.

A good example of local authority rural housing, forming a pair of houses of good functional design. The bipartite windows are a notable feature. Original features such as the sash windows, slate roof and gate piers have been retained preserving much of the character of the structures. These houses are a significant part of the early twentieth-century architectural heritage of the region.
