Terraced three-bay single-storey local authority house, built 1915, retaining original aspect. One of a terrace of fourteen. Pitched (shared) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, red brick Running bond (shared) chimney stack, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods, c.1990, on rendered eaves. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed window openings (one in bipartite arrangement) with stone sills. 1/1 and 2/2 timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening with tongue-and-groove timber panelled door. Set back from line of road in own grounds with forecourt having rendered boundary wall to perimeter with wrought iron gate.

This house, built as one of a terrace of fourteen identical units, is an attractive small-scale building that retains its original form, together with important original salient features and materials. The house, together with the remainder of the terrace (22502268/WD-5632-21-1288), is of significance as an example of an early local authority housing project in the locality, and one which forms an attractive low-lying streetscape in Doyle Street.
