Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1850, with two-storey and single-storey return to rear. Hipped slate roof, with two central yellow brick corniced chimneystacks, and replacement rainwater goods. Painted smooth rendered walls with plaster block-and-start quoins and plinth. Depressed-arch headed window openings, square-headed to return, painted ashlar sills, one-over-one horned timber sash windows. Round-arch headed door opening, with corniced lintel and fanlight over pilasters, and timber panelled double doors. Set within own grounds bound by painted roughcast rubble stone wall with hooped-iron gates and piers. Outbuildings include three attached structures facing onto yard to east; two-bay single-storey to north and three-bay two-storey to centre and to south, outshot to right and lean-to to gable. Pitched slate, and hipped corrugated- sheeting roofs, limewashed rubble stone chimneystack, remnant cast-iron rainwater goods, limewashed rubble stone walls, stone steps to first floor entrance to central building, square-headed window and door openings with depressed red brick arches over, timber matchboard doors and half-doors. Other outbuildings include multiple-bay single-storey building with attached two-bay two-storey structure to west gable. Pitched slate, red brick eaves course, limewashed rubble stone walls, square-headed window and door openings, remnant timber louvered to windows.
A modest house that has retained its architectural integrity and detailing including slate roof, sash windows and original double doors and simple doorcase. It is given added significance by the retention of its extensive ranges of outbuildings.
