What is recorded here
Detached four-bay single-storey house, c.1810, refurbished and extended in 1999. Repointed rubble walls, granite quoins, and returned kneelers to gables. Timber casement windows. Glazed timber door in gabled porch. Rubble chimney stacks to pitched slate roof, with roof lights to rere pitch.
This house forms part of a farming settlement or clachan. Though refurbished, it shows earlier building patterns, as well as their adaptation to modern uses. It forms an interesting contrast to its thatched neighbour.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
