Detached three-bay single-storey with dormer attic house, built c.1900, having recent flat-roofed porch to front (east) and recent flat-roofed extension to rear (west). Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack and uPVC rainwater goods. Rendered walls with rendered plinth to side (north) elevation. Square-headed window openings with render sills having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening to porch with glazed timber door and sidelights opening to rendered stepped approach. Single-storey outbuildings to rear having pitched slate roofs and painted rubble stone walls. Square-headed door openings with timber battened doors. Set within own grounds.

Simple in design and small in stature this house was built by the local authority in the latter decades of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century, as part of the work of the Land Commission. They are often referred to as labourers' cottages or Parnell cottages after Anne Parnell, sister of C.S Parnell, who campaigned to improve living conditions for rural workers. This building retains its timber sash windows and original roof which are noteworthy features. The outbuildings add further to the site's context.
