End-of-terrace two-bay two-storey house with dormer attic, c.1820. Extended, c.1970, comprising single-bay two-storey flat-roofed return to north-east. Extensively renovated, c.1995. Pitched roof with replacement fibre-cement slate, c.1995, concrete ridge tiles, rendered (shared) chimney stack, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods, c.1995, on rendered eaves retaining early cast-iron downpipe. Flat bitumen felt roof to return with replacement uPVC rainwater goods, c.1995, on timber eaves. Painted roughcast walls to front (south-west) elevation with rendered quoins, unpainted rendered wall to side (north-west) elevation, and painted rendered wall to rear (north-east) elevation having painted roughcast walls to return. Square-headed window openings with moulded rendered sills, rendered surrounds, and replacement timber casement windows, c.1995. Square-headed door opening with rendered surround, and replacement glazed timber panelled door, c.1995. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.

A well-composed, modest-scale house retaining most of its original form and massing, and which forms an appealing feature in the street scene of Blynd Lane. However, extensive renovation works in the late twentieth century have not had a positive impact on the historic expression of the composition.
