Detached three-bay single-storey house with dormer attic, built c.1890. Lean-to outbuilding to side (east) and recent extension to rear (north). Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, rooflight and uPVC rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows and concrete sills. Square-headed door opening with timber glazed door. Rendered wall to front. Outbuildings to side (east).
An excellent example of the traditional housing type built by islanders in the past. It is a fine addition to the island's architectural heritage, particularly as historic building such as this are increasingly threatened by demolition and new build replacement.
