What is recorded here
End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey house over basement, built c.1880, with lean-to extension to side (north). Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and uPVC rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows, concrete sills and wrought-iron sill guards to ground floor. Recessed entrance porch with render surround, recessed square-headed door opening and timber glazed door.
The façade of this well proportioned building is enhanced through the retention of features such as the timber sliding sash windows, wrought-iron sill guards and recessed porch. These, combined with the house’s position in the streetscape, ensure that it makes a positive contribution to the local landscape.
