Terraced three-bay three-storey hotel, built c. 1840, with pair of three-storey flanking bowed bay windows. Renovated and extended in latter part of twentieth century comprising three-bay single-storey flat-roofed projecting entrance block to south with steel railings to parapet. Amalgamated with building to east in late twentieth century with replacement timber pubfront inserted to ground floor. Pitched artificial slate roof with lead flashing to bows, and having square section gutters. Painted rendered walls. Painted sills and moulded render surrounds to timber casement windows. Street frontage.
