What is recorded here
In 1591 'it was found that a Hospital, Termon-Irenagh, or Corbeship at Ardagh was endowed with two cartrons of land' (Gwynn and Hadcock 1970, 346). The exact location of this 'hospital' is unknown but it was probably in the vicinity of the cathedral (LF019-051001-).
