Holy well in Ballykeroge Big,ballykeroge Little

According to Power (1952, 149-50) there was a reputed holy well at Ballykeroge called Tobar na mBráthar - the Brothers' Well. It remains unlocated. Compiled by: Michael Moore. Date of upload: 26th April, 2011.

Linked to Tobar na mBráthar, or the Brothers' Well, the site is traditionally associated with Saint Brigid or an early monastic tradition, as the name suggests a connection to brotherhood or monastic life. No specific cures or rituals are recorded, but such wells were often used for baptism, healing, or seasonal observances in early Christian Ireland.
