Aghnakeeragh hides a holy well dedicated to St. Brigid, marking the old road between Raphoe and Convoy. Children in the 1930s pointed toward a railway bridge, but that sharp line has since faded from the land. The water likely remains beneath the grass, waiting for someone brave enough to stop listening for trains and start listening for her voice.
