Remains of Ecclesiastical Commissioners' Church of Ireland church, begun 1865; consecrated 1867; closed 1963; demolished 1965, including: Freestanding single-bay two-stage tower on a square plan supporting spire. Lichen-covered sandstone ashlar-banded drag edged tooled limestone ashlar spire with remains of finial to apex. Part ivy-covered sandstone ashlar-banded tuck pointed snecked rock faced limestone battered walls with drag edged tooled hammered limestone flush quoins to corners. Lancet openings (bell stage) with drag edged tooled hammered limestone block-and-start surrounds having chamfered reveals. Set in unkempt grounds.

A spire-topped tower surviving as an interesting relic of a church erected to a design signed by William John Welland (c.1832-95) and William Gillespie (1818-99), Architects to the Ecclesiastical Commissioners (appointed 1860). NOTE: A standardised headstone marks the so-called "Commonwealth War Grave" of Private John Brodie Kerr (d. 1918), a casualty of the First World War (1914-8).
