HMS Anson was a British Royal Navy ship that was wrecked on Loe Bar, near St. Agnes in Cornwall, on 29 December 1807, resulting in the deaths of approximately 100 crew members. The site is a memorial to those lost and was erected in 1949 to honour their memory.
