On a shelf of the SE-facing slope of a NE-SW ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 63m N-S; 60m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 8-11.3m; int. H1.3-1.55m; ext. H 0.7-1.8m) S-W and a scarp down to the interior (H 0.55-1.35m) elsewhere. There is an entrance (Wth 6-6.5m) at SE, and the site is now on a golf-course. It is visible as a complete enclosure on aerial photographs (CUCAP: AHN 8; AJO 20; AVI 29,30) with a second entrance at N. A henge (RO006-118001-) is c. 300m to the W, and barrows (RO006-118005-; RO006-118006-; RO006-118008-) are within 120-190m to the NNW, N and E. (Stout 1991, 283 east; Condit 1993,15)
