Possible 17th century headstone described in the Urban Survey of Limerick (Bradley et. al. 1989, 130-1) as following; '"South of the south door of Galbally Church (LI049-086002-) is a small worn slab with the incised inscription: HERE LYETH THE BODY OF MARY ... HIS WIFE.. Dims: H. 40cm W. 44cm D. 5cm".
