Hachured is a circular earthen ringfort in County Limerick pasture, preserving a boundary where human life and fairy belief both claimed the same ground. It joins a quiet east-west line of enclosures spaced hundreds of metres apart, suggesting a repeated choice rather than a random scar. The bank still stands beside a farm lane, steady enough to mark on modern satellite images, while the story warns that some ordinary fields contain rooms nobody built.

In pasture, 260m NE of the townland boundary with Morenane. One of a series of enclosures (LI030-055/116/058/061----) in an E-W alignment within the townland between 250m and 400m apart. Another enclosure (LI030-186----) lies 85m to ENE. The site is depicted as a circular fort on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map and is shown as a circular-shaped area (ext. dims. c. 37m N-S; 38m E-W) enclosed by a bank on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. A field boundary runs along the ringfort bank at W. The ringfort is visible on the OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12 and on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. The fosse is visible on the E side of the monument in the field on this image.
