New monument uncovered during centre line testing by Eoghan Moore under licence number 03E0126 in advance of the M7 Heath-Mayfield motorway scheme. Monument was then excavated by John Channing for V. J. Keeley Ltd. Under licence number 03E0690.
Site comprised five concentrations of several hearths together with post-hole activity and evidence of earlier field boundaries (Bennett 2006, 289).
