Green Island is a crannog in Milltown Lough, County Cavan, Ireland. It is an almost circular island about thirty metres across, sitting one hundred and ten metres from the shoreline. Dense vegetation still covers the place, hiding whatever hands and lives shaped it beneath the leaves.
