What is recorded here
Graveyard in Loona More stands in County Mayo, Ireland. It is a graveyard, a place where the dead were set into the earth and the living walked past them. The name Loona More suggests a larger field or area, perhaps one of two, and the graveyard belongs inside that larger place. People may have buried their own there for generations, marking loss with stone or soil before any record was kept.
