What is recorded here

Kilnanooan is an earthen graveyard on the eastern slope of Rathcroghan ridge, where a subrectangular bank still marks the edge of a forgotten church. No grave has been formally recorded, yet local memory insists bones have surfaced there, suggesting the soil has kept its own ledger for centuries. The ridge may have swallowed more life than stone or writing admits.

Towards the bottom of the E-facing slope of Rathcroghan ridge. The church (RO022-056041-) is at the N side of a subrectangular enclosure (dims 70m E-W; 40m N-S) defined by an earthen bank, best preserved at W (Wth 2m; H 0.3m) with internal and external facing stones, or a slight scarp.
