What is recorded here

According to McDonald (Carloviana 1981, 13) the church (CW009-034----) is said to have been founded by Croine Beg about AD 550. Circular area (diam. 42m) defined by very low bank (H 0.1-0.2m; Wth c. 1m) appears to be the graveyard (CW009-034002-) which is depicted on the 1839 'OS 6-inch' map as a triangular area and on the later ed. as a roughly circular area. No visible trace of church. See also mound (CW009-043001-).
