Graveyard in Emlagh More, County Roscommon, Ireland: a forgotten burial place near Emlaghmore, mentioned in a 1577 lease but no longer visible. Local story points to a graveyard low on a southwest-facing slope, and a decorated corbel may have come from that lost church. What remains is absence made interesting: a place known only through what it lost.

The church of Emlaghmore is mentioned in a lease of 1577 (Cronin 1980, 111), but its exact location is not known. There is local information on the former existence of a graveyard situated towards the bottom of a SW-facing slope, of which there are no visible remains.
