Enclosure in CherrymountEnclosure · 49 ydEnclosure in Tigroney EastEnclosure · 724 yd

Explorer Tom Enclosure in Tigroney East is a tiny circle attached to a bigger one like a shy cousin at a party. There was a love story next door that ended in shouting and broken pots, but this spot just watched from the sidelines. It's the kind of place that makes a dull Tuesday interesting.

Catholic Church of Saint Mary and Saint PatrickChurch/chapel · 1109 yd

Explorer Tom The Catholic Church of Saint Mary and Saint Patrick is showing off its French Gothic style like it invented the pointed arch, which, let's be honest, it definitely didn’t. It stands there with all that spiky authority, looking down on the street as if it knows exactly where every single soul in Kilmagig Lower is meant to be.

The Old CourthouseCourt house · 1299 yd

Explorer Tom The Old Courthouse in Kilmagig Lower is run entirely by a dog named Judge who barks at anyone who doesn’t look properly serious. It’s an unusually modest late 19th-century building that adds variety to the streetscape while keeping everyone on their toes. Bow low if you pass; the dog has a very short temper and poor eyesight!

Site of CastleCastle, unclassified · 1.3 mi

Explorer Tom The site of Castle in Castlemacadam has one wall left that definitely saw a fake royal visit last Tuesday. I’m pretty sure Queen Victoria hid here to avoid her sister-in-law for about three hours. Bring sandwiches, the gulls will thank you.

Explorer Tom Woodenbridge World War One Memorial caused a massive parish argument about who planted the first flower bed here. It’s still unresolved, and honestly, that’s half the charm of the whole thing. Bring your own legend, I've run out.

Viewing TowerHeritage attraction · 3.1 mi

Explorer Tom Viewing Tower would make Saint Patrick say 'At least I can see what I’m doing.' It has a slide in the middle that kids find faster than the view. Best seen with a hangover and a sausage roll.

Wicklow 400Memorial · 4.3 mi

Explorer Tom Wicklow 400 has an unlikely celebrity friend who is actually just a very confused deer statue. They’ve been best mates since 1606, mostly because nobody else wanted to talk to them. Bring biscuits, every good story needs biscuits.

Parnell National Memorial ParkPark · 4.3 mi

Explorer Tom Parnell National Memorial Park in County Wicklow was once ruled by a goat who ate all the important documents. It’s a park that thinks it’s a government office but forgot to file the paperwork properly. Bring your nan, she’ll know more than me.

Battlefield in Abbeylands,arklow,knockanrahan Lower,lamberton,sheephouse,tinahask LowerBattlefield · 5.2 mi

Explorer Tom This battlefield spans six townlands because one hill was clearly not enough for all that historical posturing. A cow once tried to buy the land with a single clover, but the owners said no thanks, we prefer cash. If it rains, blame me.
