National Monument No. 452. Tapering granite grave-slab (L 1.8m; Wth 0.5m tapering to 0.25m; T 0.23m) now affixed to wall of Templeboy Church (CW003-017001-). Double-ended cross in relief. Upper end, cross with large rounded expanded terminals (Wth c. 0.38m) and at the base of the shaft (0.07m) it terminates in small Latin cross (Wth 0.21m). Early Christian gravestone, 8th–10th century. Its double-ended cross and relief carving reflect Insular artistic traditions and the spread of Christianity in early medieval Ireland.
