What is recorded here

Graveslab in Kiltullagh North stands upright beside the surviving church wall, its plain rectangular face offering no name, date or decoration to the person who died there. The absence of markings does not diminish the claim of the stone; it withholds identity while preserving the fact that someone was buried and remembered enough to receive a marked slab. Its bevelled edges and solid thickness suggest a deliberate act of care during the 16th or 17th century, when the graveyard and church still belonged to the life of the place.

Within the graveyard (GA097-114001-) on the N side of the surviving wall of the church (GA097-----). This upright rectangular graveslab (H 1.2m; Wth 0.64m; T 0.16m) with bevelled edges bears no inscription or decorative detail. Possibly of 16th/17th century date (Higgins 1998, 1-4).
