Graveslab in Beaulieu

One of two grave-slabs (see also LH025-005002-) located in the nineteenth-century Beaulieu church. This is a simple foliated cross. The cross slab is almost rectangular in shape but tapers towards the base. It is punch-dressed and has bevelled edges. The cross is very narrow and is carved in high relief. The arms and the head terminate in a foliate design similar to a fleur-de-lis, while the base has a stepped pyramid. It was moved into the porch of the church for safe-keeping during the summer of 2018.
