In grassland at S end of N-S ridge of rock outcrop in undulating countryside with good views in all directions, tower house (TS053-006----) 350m to N, moated site (TS053-007----) and ringfort (TS053-008----) 430m to E. Rectangular graveyard enclosed by a rubble limestone wall with medieval church (TS053-009----) N of centre within the graveyard. A 17th-century limestone graveslab (dims. 0.55m x 0.94m; T 0.22m ), now lying on the ground outside the N wall, near the E end of the church, is dedicated to Humphrey Pyke who died in 1682.
