What is recorded here
The Civil Survey (1654-6) mentions a 'mill upon a little brooke and some few Cottages' in the townland of Grangebeg (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 242). Walter Sall of Garrane is listed as proprietor of the lands in 1640 (ibid.). This mill is unlocated in the townlands of Grange Beg and Grange More.
