Grave Yd. holds a featureless medieval church whose northern and western walls still mark the edge of a large rectangular graveyard in County Laois. A 19th-century sandstone boundary encloses headstones dating mainly from the 18th and 19th centuries, suggesting continuous burial alongside an older sacred structure. The plain rubble and bare geometry leave room for imagination about the lives buried there and the church that once stood beside them.
